The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium is one of the few major combined zoo and aquarium complexes in the nation. Covering over 77 acres of exquisite wildlife exhibits, including many of the worlds most threatened and endangered creatures.
Designed to captivate the imaginations of all ages, from young children through seniors, they provide a unique and creative experience to all who come.
The PGP Aquarium is the state's only major public aquarium, with state of the art exhibits - A crawl through string ray tunnel, revolving exhibit tanks, and a two story shark tank. Exhibits are designed to give visitors the sensation of being a part of the ocean community.
